I'm currently restoring a Gen 1 Montero SWB, and I absolutely hate these rear brake calipers with the integrated parking brake. Overhauling them is a huge hassle. Does anyone know if it's possible to swap the rear calipers to Gen 2 ones?
Do I need to replace the entire axle shaft to make it work?

I recently got a 1989 V6 short wheelbase (SWB) Pajero from a friend.
The exterior is in decent shape, but the inside of the fuel tank is in terrible condition, so I’d really like to replace it. However, because the car is so old, I haven't been able to find a replacement tank anywhere.
After doing some research, I found out that the 2nd generation SWB Pajero might use the same fuel tank shape. The only difference seems to be the fuel vapor component attached to the tank.
My question is: Will using a tank with a different fuel vapor setup cause any issues with the car? Any advice or experience with this swap would be greatly appreciated!
