It gets water regularly (2-3x weekly), the soil is in good shape, the only thing I can think of is that maybe it’s outgrown the pot or just the intense Georgia heat. Any ideas?

Some kind of cypress but my daughter got it from school for Arbor Day and they didn’t say exactly what it was.

Going to thin them out this weekend but wasn’t sure what it actually was.
