Little Spot For Rayne

New layout for Rayne's shop. Inspiration taken from local gardening shops that have areas around their shops for walking amongst some of their larger plants. I originally had the plant shop in the middle with circles of plants around it. It felt weird. I like this a lot better. I do think I'm still planning on expanding off the left side and putting an extended plant area for NPCs to walk around. The focal point there will be a bottle tree if I can get a seed. Can the tree mover move bottle trees? (thinking) Anyways, it's small, but wanted to share.

Tractor Barns

Anyone come up with any interesting tractor barns? I jumped in creative mode to see what was possible. I had seen someone on here claim that they had gotten chests to go under bridges, and others said it had never worked (I know I never saw it work before).

With the inclusion of the flat bridges with the train release, I thought these might look good for a tractor barn. Built the square with normal concrete for the walls, smooth concrete for the bottom. Made the bridges a little lower than the outer wall so I could hide most of it with the wall and/or some flowers around the edge.

It kind of worked. The two things that bugged me was that I can't hide all of the bridge railings because the tractor has to have a way to get in. Also confirmed that I didn't see a way to either a) put chest under a set bridge or b) put a bridge over existing chests. Existing bridge it wouldn't place the chest and with placed chests it said "not on even ground" or something which was a weird error message.

Ditching the side chest room idea, the tractor only room works other than the railing. Anyone else figure out something that looks good? I really wish we had bridges without railings.

Targeting Blueprints

What do/have you peeps done mid game when it comes to targeting blueprints?

I'm at the point of a new save where I've started building out the infrastructure of my city before I move the buildings into it. I am missing a lot of blueprints for things I want to use. I'm buying from Franklyn when he has them. Get them randomly from doing tasks. Don't really buy them from Jimmy. Have went into the second mine level to go after blueprints. I don't have the airport yet.

My hang up though is it seems like I should just be going into the mines to go after the blueprints, but I find myself getting hung up on the existence of the daily tasks and the Bulletin Board. I don't have animals yet, but I do have crops. I don't need the money right now so I'm thinking I could just not plant more crops when the ones I have mature. Then I would just be fighting the urge to do the tasks.

Is that what other peeps do? Just ignore the tasks since the milestones will always be there waiting for you?
