Little Spot For Rayne

New layout for Rayne's shop. Inspiration taken from local gardening shops that have areas around their shops for walking amongst some of their larger plants. I originally had the plant shop in the middle with circles of plants around it. It felt weird. I like this a lot better. I do think I'm still planning on expanding off the left side and putting an extended plant area for NPCs to walk around. The focal point there will be a bottle tree if I can get a seed. Can the tree mover move bottle trees? (thinking) Anyways, it's small, but wanted to share.

Fired up Dinkum on steam deck

I've played many hours of this game on the SD without issue. I've not played since February.

Today I fired the game up and when I leave my house the background goes white and has black square spots.

Is there anyway to report/fix this?

Advanced slingshot help

Is anyone else having issues finding advanced slingshots? I feel like I use to find them a lot more often but now I’ve been to the undergrove twice, the hhh 3 times, and the island reef once and haven’t found a single advanced sling shot I want them so bad so I can make a bunch of the auto placers

After spending the majority of year 1 hoarding everything I pick up, I finally started decorating.

So far I've only got my town entrance completed but it's a start!

Also does anyone have an easier way to replace dirt with sand? I want to have sand go all the way up to the stairs on the right side but the only way I've found is to build a sand pile with the dirt filler and then move it all manually with a shovel

Efficient Fish finding Method?

The last fish I have to catch (in winter) is the blobfish. I've been going out at "Late" and doing a big line with the fish book in the Southern Ocean (All the way south West --> All the way South East).

I use a jetski. my strat is to open thefish book, look around for ??? then go to the furthest fish location the book showed with my jetski and repeat the steps.

I am not having any luck finding it. Is there a more effficient strat to do than this? I thought about the jetski, but I feel lke that would take longer ?

I've been playing the whole game with "dangerous wish" cause I like the challenge / extra drops, but have now switched to "bountiful Wish"

I cannot do the 2 friend method of 1 person flying, 1 person fish book out.

Edit: after about a 5 days of IRL searching, I FOUND IT.

I didn't search "LATE" but rather "Night" around 7PM !

What is the point in the "let common fish produce roe, swap to rare fish, duplicate rare fish, swap back, repeat" strategy for the fish pond?

Duplicating a lungfish overnight consumes all the roe. Yes, a lungfish is worth more than 1/2 a caviar (including any multipliers from buyers), but it does not make up for the loss in the roe that would have been made if I just left the common fish in there. It's also much more tedious to fish them out every other day.
