Check out "Getting Worked by a Yakuza in a Bathhouse" for a good dose of comedy, drama and romance!
Synopsis:
>My father passed away with a debt of 10 million yen and now I'm the one who has to pay it all back to this Yakuza called Hebizuka...?!
I'm left on edge with this young Yakuza clinging to me, but I'll keep the bathhouse running today and onward!
I finally got around to read this series, and I'm having so much fun so far!
The story has a very comedic tone at its core, where Miyako is placed in all sort of silly situations that make her have the funniest expressions you'll ever see. But it also has more serious moments sprinkled here and there where we get to learn more about both Miyako's and Hebizuka's lives. And finally, we're rewarded with surprisingly cute/romantic moments among it all.
I think Miyako is a very interesting main character: between mourning her late father, learning how to run a business that she is increasingly becoming more passionate about, and mending her relationship with art, she goes through a lot in this story. And, on top of Hebizuka, she'll be meeting a lot of lively people who add even more charm to the story.
There are currently 18 chapters in English on MangaPlaza: https://mangaplaza.com/title/0303012352/
Right now (until the end of August), you can read the 5 first chapters without extra cost with a Premium subcription (which you can get a free trial of), so I hope more people can go and give it a try! The first chapter will always be free.
The series was also licensed in French under the title "Le Yakuza des bains publics (et moi): the first two volumes are already out, and the next one is coming out next month.
And for those of you who have already read it, I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
