Hey guys, I wanted to ask what’s usually the best and most convenient way to travel from Mangalore Airport to Manipal/MAHE Udupi. I have heard there are direct cabs available from the airport, but I’m not really sure how the whole process works.

Are cabs easily available after landing, or is it better to pre book one beforehand? Also, if there are any trusted private drivers or cab services that students and parents usually use, please let me know.

Would also love to know the approximate travel time. Just trying to understand what most people normally prefer and what the overall experience is like.

How is Marena Sports overall? I’m considering making it my main training place, so I wanted some honest reviews from people who actually go there regularly. I’m a pro athlete, which is exactly why I don’t really want to take chances and would rather train somewhere that’s genuinely good in terms of equipment, maintenance, atmosphere, trainers, and overall quality. How are the gym and the other sports facilities there? Looking for honest feedback before I commit.

how hard is it actually to date in Manipal, and how easy is it to make genuine friends there? From the outside, it looks like one of those places where everyone is social, everyone knows everyone, and friend groups form overnight, but I have also heard people say it can feel surprisingly lonely if you don’t find the right crowd early on. I’m also curious about the dating scene because some people make it sound super active while others say it’s mostly situationships, drama, and the same people circulating through the same groups. Just want honest opinions from people who are there , what’s the social life really like once the Instagram version is stripped away?

I really wana know if newbies can come and visit the campus and check on hostels and does anyone know by when does the university start for a freshman .

I’m an incoming fresher at Manipal and had a few questions about the football scene there. I’ve been playing football seriously for a while and have also represented clubs, so continuing the sport in college is really important to me.

I wanted to know:

1)How good/competitive is the football team at Manipal?

2)What’s the selection process like for freshers? When do trials usually happen?

3)How difficult is it to get into the main team?

What kind of tournaments does the college participate in? (Inter university , state level, national level, or anything international?)

Would really appreciate any insights from seniors or anyone currently playing there 🙏
