my sweet chickpea has crossed the rainbow bridge💔🌈

he was rescued from roaming around a delivery truck. our first ever pet mouse. we had him for a little over a year before he suddenly got ill and just never recovered. i tried everything i could..

today, we made the very difficult decision to euthanize, a choice i've never had to make before. but we know in our hearts it is the best decision for him. he is no longer suffering.

thank you chickpea and i love you so so much❤️‍🩹

do i ask the landlord if they allow pet mice when applying for an apartment?

i am new to renting, currently living in an apartment with my mouse but need to move out soon. i found an apartment that's perfect but i'm scared to ask if they allow pet mice in case they say no. i don't want to rehome my mouse :( i've seen some redditors say not to say anything....so if the lease doesn't say anything about owning small pets in tanks i'd be safe right? or should i ask? what do you guys do?
