End of NS1 Year

I wish I had joined this program sooner. I've met so many cool people, and developed myself so much. I ended up joining my Junior year, now going into my senior, so I thought I was really gonna lag behind

I started the program a bit weak physically due to asthma, but entered and graduated from our Cadet Basic program and started as an E2. Pretty big head start against all the other NS1s.

December came around, I got double promoted to PO3, and at that time, I had already secured a spot in both armed teams, and picked up color guard seriously. Joined the Sword team for the Military Ball too; that was sweaty but fun. From there on, I took to progress as much as I could before next year. April came through, and I became the color guard commander for AREA 10's annual NS1 Drill Meet (Made 2nd Place).

I was recently promoted to c/ENS, and the Change of Command ceremony rolled around. I'm going into my senior year as the unit's PAO and Color Guard CMDR (IK I'm missing my anchor, still looking for one).

Got a few awards to show off, (missing my American Legion Scholastic Award, and my $1000 fundraising medal due to back-order complications.)

Next up for me is to do my best on the qualifier PFT so I can go to LA this June...

I want to get this pin attachment off my Order of the Purple Heart medal. Anyone got any tips? I'm trying to get the whole thing off so I can glue the gold part on top that says "Leadership" to a back clasp ribbon bar
