Just wrapped up this build earlier this week. The car with all the eyes on it from 24H Nürburgring 2026. Such a beautiful livery, just had to do it. Base kit is the Tamiya AMG GT3, with the LB Productions Evo transkit. Also LB decals and a few little extra details I added. Wonderful kit, wonderful decals. My first Tamiya kit - I get the hype now. Looking forward to another one of these in the future.

For those familiar with NASCAR kits, you know how elusive these Gen 6 models can be. Thankful to have found a few of the snap kits hidden in a local shop so I scooped them up and have been working through them. In some ways it’s pretty heavily modified, but in others pretty stock. I’ve done a custom built splitter, side skirts, clear fins and roof aerials. Also did some modifications to the ride height. Had a heck of a time with these decals - a shock to me since they’re Powerslide and I absolutely never have issues with those. They required a stronger setting solvent AND heat to keep them from breaking every time I tried to conform them to a non-straight surface. Overall though, I’m very happy with how this build came together.

Just finished up another Gen 6 kit from Revell (for those familiar this is the snap kit). Enjoyed the challenge of these decals - took some extra solvent and heat to get them to lay down right. This was the last NASCAR race I actually attended in person so a bit meaningful of a build to get done. Basically box stock kit with some scratch built pieces and suspension modifications. Freaking miss this gen of cars.

By far my favorite Jr paint scheme and most memorable win to watch. I found some old Revell snap tite Chevy SS model kits at a local hobby shop and just had to build this for my collection since I don’t really collect diecast anymore and this particular car is insanely pricey now.

Chassis and interior is box stock to the kit but plenty of mods to the body and ride height and then of course paint and decals.

Miss these Gen 6 SS bodies - easily one of my favorite looking cars.

Finished the other Salvinos model kit project on my desk this week. This is the Hamlin winner from Gateway 2025. Salvinos donor kit for chassis, Jayes model garage for Camry body and 3 Amigos for the decals.
