Needed: Electrical engineering plans to file with Rancho Cordova for a DIYish home battery install.
Home battery install prices are crazy high compared to doing it yourself. The biggest hurdle for me is with permits and inspections.
Anyone want to double up with me on a group buy of plans + hardware? I have the electrician lined up and hardware already in a shopping cart with all the bits and bobs.
Does anyone know of a small firm or person that drafts engineering plans to file permits with Rancho Cordova for DIY battery install?
I'm going to DIY install an EG4 battery system with a GridBoss + FlexBoss21 + 2x 16kw batteries. These are all UL listed together. I can do the install and wire the batteries + flexboss to the GridBoss (MID). I already have a unionized electrician that will run the wires from the meter to the cutoff switch and then to my MID, and back to my main panel.
What I need are electrical engineering plans to file with Rancho Cordova to get the permit and to file with the fire department, etc.
Any help is appreciated.
