I ordered the new 30" residential EGO mower about a month ago and it has been sitting in my garage for few weeks since I have been traveling for work. I finally opened it up today because I can finally use it later this week!

First impressions, this thing is a beast! It feels very solid, and seeing up close in person for the first time, you definitely get a feel for how wide it is. Here is a picture of it next to my 21" EGO mower.

I have a decent sized back yard of a little more than .25 of an acre, and it takes too long to push mow with the 21". It wouldn't be so bad if the weather was nice, but I live in Florida and the summers here can be brutally hot and humid, so I am hoping this mower helps me to get the lawn done faster.

I timed my last cut of my backyard using the 21", and when I use this new 30", I'll time it also and see how much quicker I can get the cutting done.
