My Son’s Nursery in Los Angeles!

This is my second son’s nursery and I love it! My other son has a green jungle themed room. He’s in the NICU, but coming home really soon.

The gift basket my husband and I put together

I used the advice from many threads on here to create this little basket for his nurses! My son is hopefully getting discharged in the next week or so, he just has to learn how to drink fully from a bottle. Let me know what you think!

Neosure Baby- how was it?

Hello, my premature baby started Neo sure at the hospital, and will be sent home on it for the foreseeable future. I’m wondering how it went for other people? Did your baby tolerate it well? We had so much trouble with formula with my first, who had terrible reflux and gas, so I’m a little traumatized.

How long did bottlefeeding take for your babies?

My son has been here for 17 days, and he will be 36 weeks gestation tomorrow. He started bottle feeding a few days ago. Sometimes he’ll take only 10 or 15 ML, sometimes he’ll take 30 to 40 ML. I’m just curious for other babies how long it took them to get it around that time? I’m so eager for him to come home.

Donor Milk Once We’re Home?

Hello, I’m wondering if anyone was able to get donor breastmilk once you left the NICU? I’m pumping around the clock, but only producing tiny amounts.

We’re either gonna need to do that or formula, which is fine. But if we could use donor milk until he’s full term, that would be amazing. Has anyone had any experience with that? Or know anyone who has?

What did your premies eat?

Hi folks, my second son was born at 33 weeks and is currently in the NICU. He will need to be primarily formula fed. We formula fed my first as well, because I produce almost no milk. It took us a while to find the right formula for him, but he was born at term. I know I will get some advice from the NICU team as well, but I’m just curious what worked well for people with premature babies?
