I was already not a meat-eater when I experienced gastric symptomps post-tick-bite that were consistent with alpha-gal, so I got tested. The results only indicate overall number, beef, lamb and pork, which is useless to me. The local allergist who allegedly specializes in alpha-gal can't see me until January. I gave up dairy, of course, but would love to learn more detail while I continue to ask as my own food detective (like all of you, and I thank you for sharing what you have on this forum!) => Does anyone have a lead to another lab test with more useful results?
