Waiting for bookings

So it’s been a few weeks since I have been hired on with VIPKid and signed the contract. So far I just have one booking scheduled for next week despite having had all peak time slots opened since a few weeks ago. Been about 4 weeks, did all the certs etc.

Is this even worth holding out for or will doing this one booking kickstart more bookings?

Thanks! 🙏🏼

Has the drowsiness gone away after months for you?

Started Zoloft mid March this year, main side effects are drowsiness. It went away after a few weeks then I upped to 50mg which I have been on for over a month. The tiredness does not stop and I have to take naps all the time. I feel like I don't have the energy to do things on 50mg like I did on 25mg. I also tried taking it at night instead of morning and I feel the same.

I am on it for anxiety and it is working for that so I would like to stay on it, but I am seeking if this drowsiness has gone away for others and if it just took months? Thanks!

hello! i am currently facing decision fatigue in switching jobs. i currently work in public education in a social work adjacent role and am looking to leave just to get paid more and to be in a more social work related role. i made it through the first round for a remote 988 crisis line job.

i have years of volunteer experience with crisis text line and absolutely love it. i understand though being able to volunteer whenever you want compared to having to work 40 hours a week assisting those in crisis is much different.

crisis line workers, do you feel like you have longevity in your job, enjoy doing your work 40 hours a week most of the time, and would recommend it as a full time job? thank you!

seeking any other similar experiences. although i am not sure if this experience could be a zoloft side effect it was so random that it is making me believe it is. i see my psychiatrist tomorrow and just wanted more insight.

so i randomly got pretty overheated, fainted, extreme low blood pressure, went pale, sweating, naseua, diarrhea. i had 3 meals that day, drank a lot of water, i don’t drink or do drugs. i had just got bumped up to zoloft 50mg the prior month and the only side effect i had been experiencing is drowsiness and the med has been working great for my anxiety.

the medics said it could have been heat related since it happened after a 2 hour car ride when it was 80 and sunny out bc of ssri heat intolerance thing but i’ve been in the heat with zoloft. but i went to the hospital and they think it was vagus nerve related and not a heatstroke.

i am so confused and scared since it was so random. just seeing if anyone has had a similar experience.
