Where does it say on the game how many hours you have played? I’m playing on switch 1

I’m just wandering around the first 2 maps , done a few shrines, visited a couple of villages, fought a few low level monsters, have mediocre weapons and shields , lit up 3 towers including the one on the plateau. Some monsters are too hard and I run away as my weapons and shields and hearts aren’t enough. Should I be heading in a certain direction to help me get better ?

It’s just arrived, any tips for a new player aged 53 ? I’m so excited, just had 250 hours in Skyrim and looking for the next big experience.

Any advice on good waterproof socks ? Was looking at seal skin ones . Cheers in advance
