Why Elemental Constellation doesn't have "x"?

So aspect says:

> While you have an equal number of Frost, Pyromancy, and Shock Skills equipped, you deal [80 - 120%] increased damage.

But I read that if there is no "x" - this becomes additive damage with other increases in the same bucket. And if it has "x" - it is a direct multiplier.

So is it a direct multiplier or not?

Stinger is bugged and does much more damage than it should

Apparently Potent Sting Stinger upgrade is bugged and still has old (pre lord of hatred) upgrade under the hood, which causes it to double dip and do infinite damage if mobs are nearby, here is what old upgrade did for your reference:

> Rampant Stinger

> Stinger does 40%[x] increased damage if it only hits a single enemy. Instead of echoing to surrounding Poisoned enemies, Stinger now draws from each to hit enemies in the primary area again for an additional 10% of its Base damage.

tldr: if there is a pack of mobs near your primary target, it will add part of poison damage on them to you as a base damage and then scale that added damage with all your multipliers (so damage gets multiplied twice by all your modifiers - first time when u poison nearby items, and then again when u hit primary target).

How big is S14 Frozen Sea upgrade?

So in patch notes there is this change for cold sorcs:

> Breath of the Frozen Sea

> 5-Piece Set Bonus: Now also triggers when enemies become Unstoppable

And here is what set does for your reference:

  • (2) Set: Frost Skills deal 70% of their direct damage as bonus Frostbite over 12 seconds.
  • (3) Set: You cannot be Chilled or Frozen. Your Maximum Life and Barrier generation is increased by x20%.
  • (5) Set: Frost Skill damage is increased by x200%. Freezing enemies or when enemies become Unstoppable consumes all Frostbite on them, dealing its remaining damage instantly.

As I understand after you freeze the mob (or boss) and they unfreeze - they become Unstoppable for some time? So this should be massive change (x3 damage) for bossing and for tower pushing where mobs live for a long time, is that correct?

A tech for chaos hit builds with the new rune

Generally for chaos builds it's very hard to obtain stat "Gain X% as extra chaos":

  • there is a rune that gives "13% as extra chaos"
  • and there is new mod on rings which gives "10% as extra chaos for spells"
  • there are a few nodes on a tree that give only 5% or 10%.

All these give a tiny amount, so ppl end up adding ele damage and loose value on Despair and Wither.

However, if you have a staff or wand you can convert stats "Gain X% as extra cold/fire/lightning" to chaos at 1:1 ratio with Betrayal of Aldur. So you can get a staff with "120% of damage as extra chaos", or even 180% if you sac 3 prefixes.

It doubled damage for my impending doom character, and it's very useful for Blackflame Covenant ignite builds like flameblast.

"Melee Attacks can now only apply Splash Damage once per damaging area"

This seems like a massive change, no?

Patch says: "Melee Attacks can now only apply Splash Damage once per damaging area. Some Attacks create multiple damaging areas during use. For example, Whirling Assault creates multiple damaging areas around you as you move.".

I'd assume that it means that you can't double hit with strikes if you have stuff like Tribal Fury, and this will greatly hurt builds that rely on bell to double hit boss. Or am I missing something?
