Where closest to Eisbachwelle to buy a waterproof bag?

Hi! A few days ago I asked on here if people still swim in the Eisbach even when the weather is not that great, like the forecast is showing for this week. I am still not sure about the answer, but in case I do get the chance to go swim, I would like to know where I can buy a waterproof bag for my phone (and maybe wallet, but not that neccesary as I can leave it at the hotel, but not my phone because I will need it for navigation). I do have a waterproof phone “case”, but it’s one that needs to be held in my hands (no strap) which I am not sure is the best option for flowing down the river. I saw people on videos with colorful waterproof bags.. Thanks!

Do people swim in the Eisbach in rainy weather?

Hi! I’m planning on visiting Munich from Wednesday 19 August until Friday 21 August, and one of the main reasons I wanted to come to Munich was to swim/float in the Eisbach in the Englischer Garten.

I’m a good swimmer and I’m comfortable with cold water, so the temperature itself doesn’t bother me.

What I’m worried about is the weather forecast. It currently looks like there might be rain around those days, and I’ve read conflicting information online about the Eisbach becoming too strong, high or dirty after rain.

For locals or people who swim there regularly: do people normally still swim in the summer even when the weather is rainy? Is there any reasonable chance I’ll be able to swim there at least one day between Wednesday and Friday or should I reconsider the trip?

Thanks!
