Anybody know what could be causing these spots? The robot torch makes a popping sound with each spot. Might it have something to do with the liner having such a sharp bend?

Heres a great example of proper penetration on a 5mm aluminum plate with a backing strip. We put a special solution on it to make the penetration more visible.
