I made a fun App for learning Japanese inspired by Duolingo

I'll keep it short: I basically made a fun, cute, kawaii-style app for learning Japanese inspired by Duolingo because I got tired of using Duolingo. It's super customizable and I added some fun extra features like custom wallpapers, different visual and sound effects, and more - just for fun. It's new, but here's some stuff I added so far:

- Available as a free web app (at kanadojo.com), no ads, no paywalls, no unnecessary app store downloads

- Full JLPT vocabulary and kanji coverage, with more than 1000+ levels for you to play

- More than 25+ different fonts and font styles

- More than 100+ different color themes, with the ability to add and upload your own custom backgrounds

- 100% free and open-source, forever

- All learning materials 100% AI-free, sourced from reputable sources and available for full download and inspection

Live demo: https://kanadojo.com

I don't yet know what direction to take this app in, but I would love to add a full AI-free learning course so that we would have a free and open-source Japanese learning alternative to Duolingo (I'm tired of Duolingo's nonsensical words and sentences - some specialized apps for learning Chinese have a much better and practical approach, which I'd like to adapt for Japanese at one point).

Free, open-source App for grinding Kanji and Vocab

As an avid Japanese learner, I always wanted there to be a simple online trainer for learning kana, kanji and vocabulary by JLPT level. The app serves as a simpler alternative to Chase Colburn's Kanji Study app, because Kanji Study was pretty complicated for me to use as a beginner and didn't have a more streamlined way of learning kanji through simple, continuous repetition and rote memorization (also, Kanji Study requires you to pay to unlock its full content library).

So, I started working on a brand new, completely free and fully open-source app in recent months. Here are the features so far:

- Available as a web app (at kanadojo.com), no ads, no paywalls, no unnecessary app store downloads

- Full JLPT vocabulary and kanji coverage, with more than 1000+ levels for you to play

- More than 25+ different fonts and font styles

- 100% free and open-source, forever

I Hate You

I hate you.

I hate how I can never dive you or kill you effectively.

I hate how your stupid shield blocks all my teammate's big ults.

I hate how your stupid little fox on a 6 second cooldown cancels my AEO healing ability on a 12 sec cooldown every single time.

I hate how I cannot duel you 1v1 because your stupid fox form has life steal and constant passive healing.

I hate how even my upgraded Whacking Hammer ult cannot kill you because you either teleport away from me or duel and win against me in the fox form. I can ult, dive and kill any other support - Invis, CND (if I time it right as the stupid bubble ends), Gambit, Jeff - but never you.

I hate how your stupid little projectiles have auto lock while I have to actually aim.

I hate when you kill me by using your stupid 360 backwards saldo flip and ramming me into your team.

I hate how you outheal, outdamage and mog me when you're on my team.

I hate how you turn into a corny giant fox and stampede all over me like a buffalo and I can never escape you.

I hate you foxlings. I despise you. I hope Zhiyong nerfs you into the Nether and never gives you any skins.

We will meet again. And I will solo ult you, dive you, ego chal you and kill myself just to get you harder than ever the next time.

Signed,

Healpool main

edit: guess I forgot to put the /s 😂
