Shark Cabins - Included Coaster Fast Track

I have an upcoming stay at the Hyperia Cabin and have just received an email with my admission, car pick tickets etc.

However, I have not been sent anything for the Coaster Fast Track (6 use) that is also advertised as being included with a themed cabin.

Is this something I pick up in person at check out?

I have contacted Thorpe Park to question this, but they say it could take 10 days to reply to me and my stay is in 9 days....

Commission Advice - Professional Services

I work for a professional services and license reseller in the enterprise software space.

I joined a year ago as the founding employee in a new territory, and I basically do everything. Outbound, find and onboard new clients, contract negotiations, renewals, some delivery/project management work and account management functions.

We've done really well, and 5 months into the year I'm at 140% of target already, with a similar amount on the pipeline for the rest of the year.

I have a good base salary, that we agreed to reflect the varied nature of my role, but I think now is the time to talk about commission.

Margin on licenses that we resell is 20%, and then the bulk of our revenue is professional services (billed by the hour).

I want to make this simple to manage and respect the cashflow. I don't want to bring in complex tiers that we have to spend time calculating, for what is a relatively small business.

I've spoken to a few friends in similar sales roles, and they get anywhere from 4-10% commission depending on what is sold, % to target, exceeding target etc.

I'm thinking to just propose a flat 5% of everything invoiced out of my accounts. This would respect cashflow (I only get paid when we invoice stuff), keep it simple to administer and give me reasons to keep pushing beyond target.

My boss is open to this, considering our progress this year.

Any thoughts or advice welcome! For anyone who works on professional services, what's your commission plan?

Hyperia down today

Just a PSA - Hyperia has been down all day.

It was testing earlier, but done nothing for a while.

Staff are down by the ride telling people it won't be opening for "a while".
