Description:

Will Graham dies from an illness, encephalitis, that Hannibal knew about but deliberately kept hidden from him. Haunted by the guilt of knowing he could have saved him, Hannibal is forced to live with the loss of the only person who ever truly understood him.

Then, on the night before Will’s funeral, someone knocks on Hannibal’s door.

It is Will.

Except Will is dead, his body has already been embalmed, and neither of them can understand how he is standing there.
