Recently my partner started paid parental leave through Centrelink after finishing her maternity leave with our second child, for some reason my parenting payment has dropped all the way down. I rang Centrelink up, they told me we weren’t on reporting so that’s what my rate should have been before? We were struggling to make ends meet before with rent/bills/food. I’m also studying, would it be worth it to go on Aus study instead?

I was recommended to go on the parenting payment when I originally made a claim instead of going on Aus study.
