Thought these were crows but clearly not! [Upstate NY]
Just curious! I've seen these in my front yard and backyard!
Just curious! I've seen these in my front yard and backyard!
I've never seen an animal like this near my house. Looks big!
I bought this lawnmower in April: "ONE+ HP 18V Brushless 20 in. Cordless Battery Walk Behind Self-Propelled Lawn Mower w/ (2) 6.0 Ah Batteries and Chargers" from Home Depot. It came with a free blower.
The first time I used it, I was thoroughly impressed and cut my front and back lawn. Second time, I cut my front lawn, used the free blower for a few minutes, and then almost finished the back lawn.
Today, my third time mowing my lawn with it, it kept turning off while mowing the front lawn. I could immediately turn it back on, so I didn't worry about it. But then it totally died before I could finish the front. I re-seated the batteries and it worked for a few more seconds but then it just died.
I took the batteries out and tried to charge them, but a red light is blinking and it doesn't seem like they are charging.
-Could hitting a couple big sticks caused my battery to drain super fast?
-After three uses, could the battery life have gotten much worse?
-Is it just defective?
-Is it just not a good product?
-Should I return it?
Some of you may tell me to get 40v, but I chose 18v because I'm a small woman with a health condition, so I was looking for something as lightweight and easy to use as possible. Should I look into different brand?
Measured with Klein Tools ET140 pinless moisture meter on masonry mode.
What should I do about this? I am going to get i-beams installed and a new drain tile put in. What else?
Also, how concerned should I be?
Thank you!
I'm not sure if this is mold or not but it doesn't look great. This is where my sump pump is. Can I spray some RMR mold remover and scrub it, then paint over it with anti-mold paint? Or do I need to do more? The rest of my basement walls are not black like this.
In my basement, some loose tiles have popped off and underneath it looks yellow. But then in other spots, it looks black underneath.
I got the tiles tested and they are 1.7% chrysotile, but do you think there is also black mastic with asbestos underneath?
If so, seems like it wouldn't be worth removing the tiles and I should just cover/encapsulate, right?
I've removed the vents for painting on the house if just bought, and I've noticed some gaps. Could these cause air to escape and make heating/cooling less efficient? If so, how can I close them? Can I just use duct tape or do I need something better?
See the photo - pretty narrow space between the brick and the door frame. Is this feasible or would I need to relocate the doorbell altogether?
