Final season and series finale

Um... the final season was interesting but the series finale felt like overkill ngl, and i dont know how to feel.

I get killing off Frank, because of his character in the show. I didnt really see him living past learning about killing the baby tbh. Bonnie im a little meh on, but honestly, all of them needed to go considering the shit they did, and Annaliese needed a "new start". The whole where they were in the future was completely unncessary, the trial and post-trial moment summed it up fine.

I thought they'd do better for Mikaela'a character overall. Personally, i didnt really like her character development. Not being able to handle the hiding the body in season 1, but seasons later she is "i experienced all this trauma as a kid, so i can handle living with this and doing these things". Its like they tried to give her character more depth but in the wrong way. No offence, but if you grow up in "survival", you may react to have to do something criminal but you know well enough not scream and cry and go to the police. I liked her in season 5 and 6 for the most part, her monologue about being her ancestors biggest dream was peak, but the whole "im getting a better deal fuck yall" behaviour was out of turn with the whole Connor-loyalty relationship. I guess she us her fathers daughter.

Connor, brother was like the least criminally liable person the keating 5, the only one who felt consistent guily for it across seasons, and the only one who went to jail lmao

For Oliver, i just think they didnt know what to do with his character so he just did all this insane shit that never really impacted the storyline, until the attempted probation only immunity deal.

Ashers plot twist icked me so bad, but also in line with his character and he pissed me off. I would have like an alternative out for him, but whatever, he didnt really do much overall. I thought hed be written out in season 2.

Laurel, the only character who i feel like was done right and actually developed correctly. She knew her family and disappeared, she did what was best for herself, and she actually, did right by Annaliese on the stand.

Annaliese, honestly, i think she got what she deserved. While she spent the entire series "protecting" her kids, ultimately, she failed. They really ended up learning accountability one way or another, which is fair enough and really, as a result of trying to protect everyone she effectively lost all of those people for it. I certaintly dont think she deserved criminal liability for it, but otherwise, universally, she paid.

Nate ruined everything, fuck Nate. His whole final arc was "Annaliese villain", i hated that for him.

The whole FBI thing ended being lame, i was excited for the double agent pollick to do something, but Nate spent the entire season ruining everything for Annaliese and trying to have her pay for his pain.

I get it was rushed, and its not the worst ending, but damn, they didnt need to do so much. I spent so many scenes watching the immunity deal shit, and that didnt even matter in the end, the keating 5 were legitimately better off not testifying at all, which is what they all knew, which is annoying.

Anyway, at least they wrapped it up.
