Too soon to get pierced again?

Would it be too soon to add 1 more piercing in September if my lobes will be 6 months old and navel will be 5 months old or is it better for me to wait longer?

Red flags

Just a little psa that just because a place has good reviews doesn’t mean you should go there. I really should have realized sooner/done more research. When I got my lobes pierced again I should have known something was wrong when they used a straight barbell. I’m glad needles were used but I was unfortunately only marked and not cleaned before getting pierced and the straight barbell was externally threaded made with surgical steel (which was something I did not know as they did not tell me at the time and I did not think to ask before getting pierced). It was crappy jewelry and my ears hated it but I just thought it was because it was fussy both during the healing stage and 3 months later. It would feel sensitive, bleed without being bumped, and be extremely dry and flakey. Getting it removed and changed for a flat back implant grade titanium studs was really painful when the grooves of the externally threaded post passed through the piercing sites. It was scratching the inside and I bled a lot and on top of that the straight barbells also gave me a wonky angle so yeah don’t make the same mistakes as me in trusting a place just because they had decent reviews

Externally threaded starter jewelry

So about 3 months ago I got my lobes repierced after letting them close up over a decade ago but was given externally threaded starter jewelry without knowing. I called and they told me it was made out of implant grade titanium but I also read somewhere that externally threaded and implant grade titanium aren’t usually paired together. I was also downsized with externally threaded jewelry. How much damage can that cause? Should I switch to over to threadless or internally threaded titanium soon? My lobes are still a bit sensitive and really dry even though I reduced how much I’ve been cleaning them.

Rook, helix, or conch first?

A while back my piercer said that I have the anatomy for a rook on both ears. I’m just wondering which cartilage piercing would be the easiest for a beginner? I’m considering getting all three (rook, helix, and conch) at some point but I don’t know the best order. So far I just have ear lobes and my belly button pierced.

How long to use saline on navel piercings?

My navel piercing is a little over 2 weeks old now. Just wondering how long I need to keep using saline on it because I don’t remember my piercer specifying. Is it until I downsize or keep using it after downsizing?

Hi, just wondering if my timeline of piercings + 1 tattoo will slow my healing? I got my lobes pierced again (after letting them close over a decade ago) on March 17th this year then 4.5 weeks later I got a 2 inch tattoo. About 1.5 weeks after my tattoo I got a navel piercing. Should I have spread them out further apart? I’m planning on not getting anymore piercings or tattoos till next year.
