Is this normal?

Is this normal?

I got my tongue pierced a week ago and changed it to a shorter bar but I don’t know if this is normal. Should I change it to the original bar?

Tragus and helix piercing material

I went to a piercer 6 days ago and got my tragus and helix pierced, with a piercing gun...The earrings are "surgical steel" supposedly. She said to come to her in 2 weeks for her to change my earrings. From what i read, thay is too short of a time for a change. Now my tragus is really painful and swollen, my helix is fine. When do you guys recommend I change them at home, and what material is best?

I want to stretch my septum really bad.

I got my septum pierced two months ago, it is healed and completely painless. I can twist it around and haven't had any irritation whatsoever. But I really want to start stretching, I know that it is likely not a great idea, I got pierced at 16g and I bought 14g jewelry, someone needs to convince me not to do it, or convince me to do it, one of the two

Is my navel piercing obviously crooked or am I being dramatic?

Hello ! I got my navel pierced about a week ago and it looks slightly crooked to me. What do you guys think? Is it crooked enough to get redone or am I being dramatic? 😭

3 month old, helix, sterling silver. Got irritated and developed a bump. How do I get rid of it?

Got this piercing this april and 4 days ago someone pressed on it really hard and ever since then it’s developed this blue-ish bump on it.

Its not painful or anything but its itchy and I am kinda losing my mind ever since someone told me that I might need to operate it. HELP ME OUT.

4th lobe angle off? ~48 hours ago. Implant grade titanium and threadless. Saline.

Left 4th lobe pierced ~48 hours ago. Implant grade titanium and threadless. Saline.

It swelled majorly this morning and looked like it was going to engulf the whole bar because it’s the holiday weekend and no one’s open to get a longer bar and I just took it out.

Looking at the entry and exit wounds and I am now questioning if I should return to the piercer on Monday. It appeara to exit up in the bowl of my ear. I have a pic of my Right 4th lobe attached for reference which was done by a different piecer and is a few weeks older now.

I assume ears are sisters and not twins. I also know 4th loves can be a transition point were it’s lobe and cartipage. But the contrast between the two ears makes the angle of the left feel stranger to me. Have yall seen a 4th pierced like my left and should I go back to the original piercer to have it repierced?

Nipple piercing healing

So I’m a f20, I got my nipples pierced recently and it’s obviously sore to the touch but it has some like very very minimal white fluid coming out? Is that normal? Like it doesn’t necessarily hurt and they don’t smell bad, it just concerns me because I really don’t want it to get infected, I have a saline solution cleaner that I use for it 3x a day, just wanted to make sure I’m doing it right

Is my eyebrow piercing rejecting? Pvd gold atm but it was pierced with implant grade on 10/01so about like 10 months ago got it downsized a 1mon or 2 later when piercer thought it was right and then recently got it downsized a second time and i was told it wasnt but idk 😬

was told it wasn’t and that some people just down size alot but idk i need more opinions im rlly concerned Also if it is rejected is it ok to get the same brow re pierced yhe same day as taking this one out but like more in the middle of brow (as seen in last photo) because i kinda wanna do both brows but more centered if i have to take my current one out because i like to have my set up symmetrical

Eye brow piercing/ 2ish years old/ not sure what metal it is but it’s the original jewelry that the piercer gave me

Is this an irritation bump/ how do I get rid of it ?

I’ve had this piercing for like 2 years and this bump showed up a while back. I’ve tried leaving it alone but I think I’ve ended up messing with it in my sleep. Are there like way to help it go away? Like can I put a bandaid over it to stop it from rubbing against things?

what is this and what should i do? ~3months old, surgical steel, size unknown

I got this piercing about 3 months ago. for the first month and a half i was extremely careful with it, i cleaned and sprayed it at least twice a day and i moved it very minimally. after about 6 weeks i tried out different jewelry, because it looked healed and wasn’t hurting. it got a bit irritated so i just put the regular ring back in.
i still occasionally take it out before i shower and wash the ring and the piercing.
for the past month the right side of it felt irritated, and i did move it and spray it a lot, i also put rubbing alcohol on it to get rid of the smell and i used hydrogen peroxide to clean the ring sometimes
whenever it was bothering me i kept messing pressing on my nose or washing it, and a little earlier today it really started stinging, and i found this big red bump there

i’m not sure if i should take it out or keep it in or go to a doctor. it doesn’t hurt as much as before but it’s still stinging a little and very uncomfortable

i’m aware that i’ve made a lot of mistakes with this piercing, but what should i do?

3 days Navel piercing

I just get this piercing 4 days ago, and I think its fine because it doesn't hurt unless I move very abruptly or stretch. But I started exercising yesterday, it doesn't bother me at all, but I got a little paranoid because a lot of people started saying negative things about it getting infected or that with so much movement it might pop out, which I think is almost impossible.

Anyway how does it look like? Please ignore the hair growth...

Nose piercing

over a year ago i got my nostril pierced- never had ANY issues with it until a week ago i woke up with it not being in my nose one morning, couldnt find the piercing for the life of me so went to purchase a new one.

for context- it is an L shape bar

when i put the new one in there was a small amount of resistance putting it through
that was about 4 days ago

yesterday i noticed it was almost doing the same thing it was when i got it pierced, red around the piercing, leaking blood and a small amount of pus.

i went to my piercer and she told me it could just be irritation from the new jewellery and if it gets worse to go back in
thing is, i have no time to go in

this morning i woke up with the piercing halfway out my nose and a lot of pus.

would this be rejecting? or infected? should i put the jewellery in or leave it out? 😔

u/Advanced_Ad_9602 — 2 days ago

is this an infection? or hopefully just irritation

got it pierced about a month back, pulled a dumb one and assumed that it would be healed and changed the jewellery, it wasn’t healed and it bled, i drained some of the pus too, this is what happened the next day, the surrounding area is swollen and is hurting

Too soon to get pierced again?

Would it be too soon to add 1 more piercing in September if my lobes will be 6 months old and navel will be 5 months old or is it better for me to wait longer?

3 month old eyebrow piercing

First of all, please excuse my flaky skin I got a bad sunburn and I’m peeling it’s so gross

I got my eyebrow pierced in April and I’m noticing a little redness on the bottom bit of the piercing. I can’t tell if I’m being paranoid or not. Any info helps!

Thank you!

Is this normal after 5+ years

It's less specifically a jewelry question, more of a after piercing question.

Ive had my left nipple pierced since I was 18, im 25 now. And just today, I saw white substances coming from my nipples... not the nipple piercing holes. This is the first time I can remember this happening. Ive always kept the jewelry sight relatively clean. Is this a normal occurrence? 🤔 i was thinking im lactating for some reason (idk) but my right side is not giving lactating vibes. Is this an infection I dont know about? Its white and milky, doesnt look yellow, nipple isnt sore and the piercing itself can move freely.
