Why are my 1st healed lobes getting irritated?

I’ve had my first lobe piercings since Sept of 2025. They were fully healed , able to move around, switch them with no issues. I also had an amazing experience with the healing process. My body is a slow healer with piercings always has been but these were definitely fully healed. I than recently on April 2nd got my second lobes pierced, they were fine but less of a great experience as it was from an apprentice. They hurt alot more healing. Than finally on April 6 I did my own third lobes on both ears & helix on left ear only. I did 4th lobes too & flat on left ear on April 24 but took them out because it was way too much. I know i’ve done way too much and I wasn’t expecting for my seconds to be fully healed. But now i’m getting piercing bumps and irritation on my healed 1st lobes? What is going on, i’m also getting alot of crust which is expected. I also took out my 3rd lobe on right ear cause it was swallowing the jewelry. Nothing is infected but it’s very crusty not painful at all but what’s happening with my 1st lobe? I put pics below. I also clean once a day with neilmed saline & jewelry is titanium except 3rd lobe & helix which is gold or surgical steel I believe but I don’t have an allergy to that.

Did my septum piercing heal super fast or is it tricking me?

I got my septum pierced about three and a half weeks ago. When I went to go get it pierced I was so nervous because I heared from a friend that it was their most painful piercing they had.

But when I got it pierced, I barely felt the clamps, and I didn't even feel the needle go through, completely painless. My piercer told me that it would start hurting a few hours after my piercing, I went that entire day without even a sting. I haven't gotten any crusties, I couldn't afford the saline solution so I just use warm water every morning and night. I've accidentally full force smacked my nose and I didn't feel a single thing, I'm able to move it around painlessly, the only thing that I noticed is when I press on the tip of my nose with my finger it is a bit sore feeling.

I'm basically just wondering if this is normal, if this is temporary and later on it's going to hurt, and if my healing is going smoothly.

(I don't know a whole lot about piercings, please be kind)

15mm long bar/anti eyebrow too long ?

entirely an aesthetic question/preference. i got this anti eyebrow exactly a month ago. done with a staple bar and got the flats changed out to balls kinda on impulse. it healed like perfect nd my piercer no doubt did an amazing job but i noticed recently after a bit of observing that the studs on the ends of the bar look a little too far apart for a traditional anti eyebrow so i was kinda doubting my decision. did some research nd found out my bar is 15mm long. just 5mm longer than normal. been wanting to downsize to a 10mm bar so it looks more cohesive but ik it'd be a ton of trouble to go thru , any opinions ?

Plan on one ear. Now what should I do with the other?

Other ear just has lobe right now. The one in the pic has stuff like this but they’re still healing.

I dare you to ignore the swelling okay. No comments about the daith right now thx babe.

4 hours old nipple piercing, titanium, 14 g, screw, saline soaks

I just got my nipple piercings done today and the right one is perfect. The picture I’m sharing is my left one. The piercer said it shouldnt be an issue but she made a mistake and went a millimeter too deep on one side (what she said). Should I take this out or is it fine to keep it in to heal?

New helix piercings concerns

I got two helix piercings (the two balls) yesterday, not even 24 hours ago, and they look like they’re bruised now? I’m not sure. I’m also not sure if the placement looks good. Thoughts?

What would you put on the other ear to compliment this?

One ear: double helix, daith, lobe. Planning on frontal helix to connect with chain to helix.
Other ear: lobe

question on new navel piercing

is this normal? no crusties or fluid and stuff, but very itchy. sometimes might graze it accidentally. it's fresh and still five days old with implant grade titanium i think and it's externally threaded. usually just run water with it and some of my soap and clean with saline after.

Can I walk in and ask for a check up?

Been having an irritation bump that does not want to go away. I’ve seen the person who pierced my ears a few times now. I get told the same advice. Saline, hairdryer, don’t touch it.

I want to get a second opinion since that bump is still there. Has been for 9 months now

I found another place. But they don’t have any bookings for service/checkup. Only bookings for piercings/tattoos on their website

It says walk-ins are welcome but can I walk in and just ask for a check up?

I just don’t want them to look at me like I grew a second head. Do I call and ask? Whats the etiquette?

Plastic piercing for flat

I went to get a flat piercing, and they used plastic jewelry with a ball on the back. Should I get it replaced as soon as I can, or should I wait more since my ear is perfectly fine? There is no swelling whatsoever, and it's been around two weeks now

Help my second piercing won’t heal!?! I dii ok by know what I’m doing wrong😭

My piercing is 4 months old, it has been downsized and is a high quality metal.

I use a Q-tip and sterile saline 0.9% to clean gently around it in the morning and before bed.

I’m sleeping on an airplane pillow with my ear in the hole for your head so it doesn’t touch the pillow or on my back.

My other piercing is fully healed and has a gold hoop with no issues. But my second one keeps getting pimples/ infected and hurts): ( when it gets infected it gets warm with yellow greenish puss and it takes a week or so to heal)

I can’t sleep on it yet and it’s been seven months😭 I don’t know what to do am I doing something wrong😭😭

Piercing advice

Hi all, I recently got my third lobe piercing and I can’t stop hyper fixating on how unbalanced my piercings look. I am open to letting them close and getting repierced, but that’s not ideal. Am I overreacting? If I were to start fresh, which piercing do you think is the problem?

Deciding on new piercings (uneven first lobes)

Hey everyone! I just recently got my second lobe piercings but they do look a bit off since my first lobe piercings are pretty uneven. Unfortunately I can’t get my first left lobe (the ear with the mole at the bottom) recentered because it would be too close. This is the most noticeable uneven piercing as it’s far to the edge. Also my second lobes are pierced based on each ears first lobe…so yeah extra cooked.

I mean instead of just taking it out, I kinda want to embrace it and add more earrings? Stacked? I’m really open to all suggestions and I’m kinda excited to get more despite the crookedness.

I’m open to as many on each ear! Maybe focusing on the lobes first :)

Nostril, unsure about jewelry grade, screw bad, using saline, embedded overnight

Hi! I had this piercing done around 2 weeks ago (May 3rd). I had it done locally, and unfortunately didn't clarify with the piercer and was given a screw bar. I didn't find out how bad they are for healing until a few days later. I have developed an irritation bump over time due to constant snagging and movement even with me avoiding touching it and only using saline spray two times a day.

I had ordered a threadless flat back labret with a taper and was waiting on it to be delivered (it will be delivered today) so I could replace the screw bar, but this morning I woke up and the top stud was completely surrounded by red angry tissue to the point it wasn't visible anymore. I was able to push it out from the inside and keep it out eventually as it kept wanting to embed. The attached picture is how it currently looks after cleaning with saline spray.

I'm afraid it is too irritated to change the bar at this point even with the taper. Should I go back to the piercer to have it changed out, or is this situation looking bad enough to consider just removing it completely and trying again later?

For context, I had an irritation bump forming over time, but it didn't look too bad and was definitely not as angry looking as it is today. It was mostly just pink and much smaller compared to how it is today. Thank you!

Is this infected ?

I got a piercing on May 15th for my birthday, and a few days ago pus started coming out. It doesn't hurt much, and I've been cleaning it with sea salt water and hydrogen peroxide. My mom also put me on antibiotics. I honestly have no idea if I should take it out 💔 ( also sorry 4 grammar mistakes english is not my first language )

Floating naval, implant grade titanium, using saline

Seems like this is a pretty common problem but wondering if anyone has advice on what I should do from here. I’ve had the piercing (floating naval) for 2 years and have changed the jewelry myself a few times, but about a month ago I went back to the original piercer and got one with the bottom gem put in. I think it got caught on clothing a few times in the days after and I’ve been having issues since then. It hurts and it’s super red and gooey underneath the top gem (which is the one it got pierced with 2 years ago) and a bump is growing downward into my naval. For about a week I’ve been washing with saline and blow drying it on cool after but I don’t think it’s getting much better. Any advice? This is probably a bad idea but I’m tempted to just take it out for a few days to let everything settle down
