Idk if this is the right place to ask, but I have a Samsung DVD-V1000 from the early 2000’s that I’ve had in my room forever. I set it up again recently, and it was doing great. When I first set it up the TV had fuzz on the screen and with audio, and somehow I got it to go away, but idk how I did it.

I tried to turn on captions on a VHS tape and accidentally turned on a timer? I removed the tape and put a DVD on to mess with things in case it chooses to shred something, and now when I try to mess with the channels now to undo it is says “timer record error tape missing”

I cannot find any online manuals attached to this device that give instructions on this setting, and I have no idea what I’m doing. Can anyone give me pointers?

The fuzz started when I unplugged both devices to try and undo the timer, after failing with the remote.
