[NO SPOILERS] People hating on Mia Isaac just need to watch her act.

This scene is from the end of Don't Make Me Go, a 2022 film on Prime Video about a father and daughter who go on a cross-country road trip to reunite Wally (Mia) with her mother before her father dies from a brain tumor that he's keeping a secret from her. The scene is after the truth comes out and Wally's mother rejects her.

Mia's performance is so strong here. She's angry, decisive, sad, and holds her own opposite John Cho. She was 17 in this, btw. Fun fact, Mia is mixed black and Chinese, which is why John Cho is playing her dad here.

I was already rooting for her when she was cast, but I have no doubt she'll crush it as Kate in the show.

Maybe even the storm scenes and/or Max's nightmare where she talks to her double in the diner? I can recognize Mia and Faly at least.

I'm also pretty sure that's Tatum and Maisy second from the left and Emily Carey is hugging them. Again, you can see their height difference is accurate to the game. Maisy is short but Tatum's even shorter 😊

In addition to the scene in the Blackwell dorms, it seems like Lauren Wolkstein and Vincent De Paula filmed a scene involving a car on Friday. It doesn't look like Chloe's truck, so my best guesses are:

- The scene in Polarized where Max drives Jefferson's car into the storm and hears Nathan's voicemail

- One of Chloe's dream sequences from BtS in William's car

- The short scene from the ending montage of Out of Time where Wells is talking to Jefferson at the driver's side window before he drives off

- A brand new scene for the show.

[NO SPOILERS] Max and Chloe costume leaks

The Twitter account listvacervo found a video of the Life is Strange live action makeup trailer, which was decorated for some cast members' birthdays. If you look closely though, you can see a ton of revealing hair/makeup/costume test pics along the walls: Max and Chloe in the pool, Max in Rachel's clothes, Chloe in her Ariel costume from The Tempest play in Before the Storm (which confirms those flashbacks), and a pic of them standing side by side that shows off Maisy and Tatum's height difference: live action Chloe is still taller than Max!

[NO SPOILERS] I found another short film starring Tatum Grace Hopkins

I searched up Tatum's name on Youtube and this popped up. It only has 800 views, so to the one LiS fan who found it before me and commented: nice work.

This is a student film so please be nice. Tatum was only 18 while acting in this, but her line delivery and body language was already so natural. She nails her angry scene toward the end, but I particularly loved how much confusion, hurt, and disgust she conveys in just a look to her scene partner after he yells at her in an earlier scene. Max is a quiet character, so her facial acting needs to be on-point. Though it is weird to see her play a confident alternative girl named VICTORIA. 😂

If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend the other short film Tatum acted in called Meek. She's so Max in that one it's insane. Content warning for sexual assault.

[NO SPOILERS] Mackenzie Dohr (writer on LiS) just won an Emmy for Widow's Bay!

Mackenzie Dohr has written for Wandavision, Widow's Bay, and now Life is Strange. Widow's Bay on Apple TV netted 19 nominations and 14 wins, setting a new record for Emmy wins from a debut season of television. Dohr won "Outstanding Comedy Series" with the rest of the producers and the episode she wrote, S1 E4 "Beach Read," is still the highest-rated episode of the season on IMDb.

There's some serious talent behind LiS. Wins like these make me more and more hopeful the writing will deliver!

I also posted this to r/LifeIsStrangeTV but it didn't let me carry over the body text.

The cast and crew of the Life is Strange show travelled to Victoria, the capital of BC, on Sunday. u/TraditionalWheel80 shared a post earlier with photos from the cast and crew's stories.

The photos are of the British Columbia Parliament Building, so that can't be Blackwell, but I think I found the school that will be: Camosun College.

The clock tower of the Young Building at their Lansdowne campus looks just like the Blackwell banner from the Steveston set leak! Shoutout again to the users on the Richmond subreddit who shared those pics with me last month.

Disclaimer: If you live in the area and do see them filming, remember not to get in the way of the cast/crew while they're working.

[NO SPOILERS] Do you think Hannah Telle will make a cameo in the Life is Strange TV show?

I know Hannah definitely wants to be in the show from what she's said in past interviews. Life is Strange is also currently filming until October 16th. Hannah's Instagram story from Thursday, 7/30 shows her on a plane. Could she be going to Vancouver?

Polygon posted a new, short interview with Karyn Kusama, who'll be directing the first two episodes of the Life is Strange TV show on Amazon.

I thought that her quotes, as well as her actually knowing the source material, is a great sign for the series: “I’m hoping we’re going to strike a balance between honoring the game and making something distinctive on its own terms... It was such a cool game, and such an interesting set of questions."
