Theory: WARNING SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 5

Okay so the secret boss was not what we were expecting but despite the secret boss being Mad Mew Mew there are parallels to her being connected to friend inside me.

1.Both are Puppets

2.When Mad Mew Mew splits,her Mad Mew Mew/Mad dummy half is gray and monochrome.

3.during the fight the other half Kissy Mew Mew or whatever talks from within mad Mew Mew almost like she’s inside, like a friend inside me reference.

  1. During her boss theme, Cutie Mew Mew Magic into 50 seconds into the song you can hear the friend inside me motif, and it lasts for about 4 seconds then not long after at 1:10 it continues for around 2 seconds. I may just be crazy on the song part though.

Even though we didn’t get a secret boss fight with a monochrome cowboy, we did get yellow and I love him as a character.
