Does anyone else feel Ride and Rescue is a *little* overhyped by the community?
It's cute; don't get me wrong! I haven't been playing long but already, the horses are sliding around in their gaits like it's a 2017 Turbo Rocket Games "[insert animal name] Simulator", stick-on manes and tails, you somehow tame* the horses with that god forsaken EVER-PRESENT dust scrubbing minigame [every horse game has to have it in some form I guess], constant popups for the subscription service, the map is empty and full of these obnoxious, ever-bleating deer that drop my framerate when they clip right into me without a care in the world, copy-paste mountains.
*I don't know for sure how the minigame affects your bond with the horse but the tutorial flavor text implied so haha.
its alright, and don't misconstrue my point; very appropriate for the intended age range but I've been seeing a LOT of us aged 18+ recommending it to other adults on the Horse Game Hunt and I feel it just does not live up to the hype. I do very much look forward to seeing it further developed, I do understand it's very new :] not looking to stir hate, just wondering if anyone else is feeling similarly.
