I can´t deal with emotionally taxing movies but ive watched a total of three movies in my life and want to expand my horizons. Please help.

Long story short, ive been in a rough spot for a while. For no reason at all, after a lifetime of barely watching movies, im kinda interested in watching "the classics", but if i pick a random "1000 movies to watch before you die" im afraid i will run into a Grave of the fireflies or a Boy in stripped pijamas scenario.

It doesnt necessarily need to be feel good-y, I just really can´t deal with super taxing movies whose entire message is just... bleak, like Clockwork orange or Old country for old men rn (havent watch this last one so maybe im mistaken). I just literally dont know the ending/plot of any of the "must watch" movies, and i dont wanna google "does dead poets society have a depressing ending??" and spoil myself everything. Im okay with bittersweet like parasites or the life of pi, but is there any of the "Big Ones" that i should stay away from?? Ive literally only watched Devils wears prada, so its easier to tell me which movies dont fit my criteria, vs those that do

I realize this is gonna spoil a couple movies just by sheer nature of the question, but better six than fifty. I dont know what shawshank redemption is even about, for example. I wanna go into as many movies as i can with a completely free mind.
