For sale is a Montblanc Meisterstuck 149 in silver with an 18k Medium nib.

Asking: $500 shipped, PayPal G/S

Condition is B+++, I purchased this at a pen show (Long Beach, 2020) and advertised as "Like New", inked it maybe two or three times to try out different inks, used it for maybe a few hours at most, and mostly just sits in my pen display box.

It's in excellent condition except for a small dent on the bottom side of the pen, see album for detail, but it's kind of hard to see. I didn't notice that dent until I was home, but it seems like that was already there when I purchased it (I guess I got too excited and didn't examine it too carefully). Otherwise, the rest of the pen is like new.

Serial number can be seen on the ring of the clip (see album) and "Made in Germany" on the underside of the clip (didn't take a picture but I can if requested).

I found this growing in a dark grow bin for some dubias I'm keeping. It's growing on some whole grain oats, bin is higher humidity.

it releases some spores when I try removing it, so maybe some other kind of fungus?

Is it harmless or should I purge this?

TWSBI Diamond 580 ALR in white and rose gold II and a fine nib, inked with Kon-Peki because work. I got this in Oct 2024, sits in my pocket often and I always get praises for it. You can see the cap yellowing from the abuse.

This is my daily driver and I've noticed ink leaking for a month or so now. Last week the cap broke, so I got a new one shipped in (shout out to TWSBI customer service) while I put a temporary fix with superglue. Today, another (heart)break.

This is my 3rd 580 (turquoise and prussian blue, both missing, lost or stolen) and I love them for daily stuff. They're nice enough that garners praises but not so expensive that I can't readily replace. Except the Turquoise one, that was a special edition.

As much as I love the clean look of white and rose gold, I hate the yellowing over time (my fault though). Not sure if I'll pick a new color for the next 580. Smoke and rose gold looks nice, I like the Caribbean but not the onyx.

My Narwhal from 2020 got a loose clip (my fault as well, great pen btw) and I'm not ready to pull out the custom nib stuff for daily writing and pocket riding (until I win the lottery).
