I can teach Korean/English

Hi! I’m a doctor, currently preparing for my residency exam and kinda sorta broke right now so I want to earn some pocket money.

during my free time in med school, I coached IELTS students and having learned Korean, I can help you learn basic conversational korean aswell!

If anyone’s interested, please DM and we can discuss the hourly rate for lectures and more details!

I long for a home I never had..

I began writing this in a time of extreme distress and then kept going back to it, adding little details as I thought about things more and more. Honestly, I think this is my most unfiltered, raw pieces I’ve ever written. It’s also me going back to my poetry days.
If you read, please let me know what you think!
I’m always on Medium reading stuff so I would love any recommendation you have! kbye~

LOOKING FOR IDEAS FOR A SIDE HUSTLE.

So I’m a doctor, preparing for my residency and as is the case with most of us in this phase of our careers, totally broke.

Well my partner is working full time and we are comfortable, but sometimes I feel like with the way my country’s economy keeps tanking, I want to be able to contribute & help out. And the idea of having some financial independence sold me out already.

Problem is, with my studies, I can’t do too much, because I don’t wanna compromise on that.

I used to give IELTS Spoken English Coaching and tutored O/A levels students at a nearby academy before I started my medical internship. But at this time, the only thing I can manage somewhat is flexible, remote work.

I’ve been grinding my noggin’ trying to figure out something that will help me earn some money, without taking away too much energy and time from my studies.

I’d appreciate if you guys can give me some ideas.

For reference, I’m good at teaching Biology/English. I like writing (I have a monetised blog but I barely make chump change from it).

Realistically speaking, I can spare around 2-3 hours working a day. I’m not looking to become rich, just enough to get through my monthly expenses on my own.

If you have any ideas, please comment below!! Thanks in advance!

What is your most favourite personal piece you’ve written up to date?

So I’ve been trying to analyse my works so far and figure out my niche.

the problem is I love to read and write about too many things so circumscribing myself into a particular niche is hard.

so far, literature analysis and personal journal type content has been the most fun to work on.

I would like to know what you guys find to be your best works? Leave a link or description with your username and I’ll check it out!

Here’s mine !!

Medium Partner Program

Hii!! I’m new to freelancing side of writing and I recently joined Medium & began posting. Got enrolled in the MPP last month and have been consistently posting throughout.

I guess my reach is limited as I am a new account but one thing I have noticed is, how my hard work to actual money conversion ratio on there is basically outrageous. And as someone who is looking for a good side income (currently unemployed & desperately in need of a flexible remote setup) this feels like a journey I’m not going to benefit from much.

But I hear that people do make good money on there, not consistent, but for me, a good 200-300$ will do too. Right now? I made 0.83$ from my 5 articles I have posted over the last two months..

I don’t know what’s lacking? can someone tell me what I can do to build my reach and community?
