30 under $30 bonus make up bag

In case anyone missed it; if you purchase 3 out of 30 selected Mecca branded products priced under $30, you score a denim make up bag. I think this is only available online or via the app. And yes, I ashamedly took the bait and grabbed a liner, shadow stick and lipstick that I didn’t really need.

I am now 5 months into my red light obsession with my Therabody cordless mask. I use it religiously for around 30 mins on the first two cycles only.

It was the Therabody or the Shark CryoGlow - while the cooling eye pads sounded nice, this also meant the Shark wouldn’t be hitting the eye area.

The only thing I found mildly annoying about the Therabody is that the rubber eye pads seem to leave a bit of an imprint, meaning I don’t reach for it in the morning because it makes under eye lines look worse. I should point out I also take a lot of care not to wear it too tight.

I had my usual Botox jabs in February 2026. I’ve been going to the same injector for years. This was the first time the number of units I usually have in my forehead decreased but crows feet eyes were the same, or maybe a bit more. I am ever the skeptic, didn’t mention I was using red light, and thought it might have been a fluke. I’m mid 40s, have regular botox, and as mentioned, it’s been the same injector for years. The units are pretty consistent, but have never decreased by that much.

Tonight, went again for my usual jabs. I was blown away - again, the units in my forehead had decreased further!! But… the units needed around my eyes had nearly doubled. So I am now wondering, is the pressure from the rubber eye pad making my crows feet worse, or is the pad preventing the red light from properly targeting the crows feet area.

So, for scientific purposes, I have now ordered a Lumin LED eye mask. It looks as though it has the appropriate wavelengths, has lights more closely targeted around the eye area and doesn’t seem to sit as snug as the Therabody.

Over the next six months I’ll use the Lumin on its own, for 30 mins per day. I am curious if I’ll see a gradual reduction of units needed around my eyes, but increased units in my forehead at my next appointments in August and November. Anyway, I’ll report back. But interested to know if anyone has had a similar experience?
