Turbo wastegate or actuator....?

Turbo wastegate or actuator....?

Welp... the saga continues. I changed the Turbo Control Valve and checked the vacuum lines (which were all good).

I then gave wastegate linkage a little attention.... it would not move! Due to time restraints, I couldn't investigate further. It appeared that it was the wastegate itself that was restricting movement, but the plunger on the actuator wasn't moving either... sigh.

Either way, the issue prevails so it wasn't the tcv.

Now I sit on a fence... at 323,000km... do I pull the motor, change the turbo, do the timing, fix the oil leaks.... or do I just replace the turbo in-car(is that even possible?)?

Maybe i can smack the turbo housing with a hammer and dislodge the bidding lol...

Anyways, tia

Trouble in paradise - boost codes. 1260, 603C, 603D V50 T5

Check engine light has come on and these are the codes. She has 320,000Km on the, what I can assume is, stock and original everything.

I'm going to check for vacuum leaks and do a once over, figured I'd post here and see if anybody else knows if this points to a common issue. I have vida, is there a resource online I can research to see what parameters things should be at during a road test? Currently it feels like it's overboosting... which I don't hate.

I changed the boost sensor/iat late last year due to a trouble code and clearly faulty readings (-13°C).

I do plan to (Maybe) upgrade things. I read this could be due to stuck wastegate actuator movement, so I'll try and check that too.... maybe it's time for a bigger turbo? Could also be TCV...

Am I harming anything by driving this conservatively until I figure things out?

Thanks in advance

Rear wheel spacers/lug nut discussion

So I've picked up a pair of hubcentric wheel spacers for the rear. 10mm is all I really want to just finish the look.

I recently finished a fair suspension rebuild; H&R 35mm sport coils, Bilstein shocks and struts, wheel bearings, control arms, sway bar links and some other needed items. Honestly I wish the rear would go down another 15-20mm, but that's another discussion.

Anyways, I want to bring the rear out a little, 10mm per side will do, so I got these spacers thinking I could just throw them on, no big deal.... Wrong! Not enough threads to hold the wheel on.

So Volvo has special 2pc lug nuts that has a free spinning collar. As you tighten the nut, the collar sits static. My question is, do I need to get longer studs, and if so, who sells them... or can I use these extended lugs(pic3)? The third option is to get a bolt on spacer, but that may require making space for the stud inside the mating surface of the rim, which i would rather not do.

Please discuss.

Btw, the car handles amazing now
