Reaction to Jebin v/s Killian

It is so weird that Jebin was kicked out of the show for writing that letter (not at all supporting him because its ridiculous) but Killian was not schooled enough or called out enough for all those ridiculous messages from his friends?

Like am I missing something here? I thought that was way way more offensive and why wasnt he kicked out of the show after that? If I was Hayley reading somrthing like that, I would be scared engaging with someone like that post reading it. Yikes!

Terminated during probation

Looking for some honest perspectives from Australian corporate workers and HR professionals.

I was terminated during probation after receiving a very positive review with no documented performance concerns. I was told to continue doing what I was doing, was given future development goals, and was trusted with significant responsibilities including training newer staff.

Shortly afterwards, I had a disagreement regarding a leave request and was then terminated for being "not a cultural fit."

I had also disclosed a significant medical history not long beforehand after initially expressing discomfort discussing it.

I'm not asking whether the termination was legal. I'm trying to understand whether this sequence of events would raise questions for experienced managers/recruiters, or whether this is considered fairly normal during probation in Australia.

Appreciate any insights.

Venting out frustration

So I havent necessarily had the best childhood nor the best years dating and in adult relationships. Toxic patterns throughout and have gone through some really messy and fucked up shit before I found a partner at 31, got married at 32 and honestly at 32 is when I finally felt at home. I thought I got everything and more than I could ever wish for. Finally, I had a normal life. 3 months into my marriage I got diagnosed with PMBCL, it felt like a cruel joke.

Not like I had the option of not to be strong, so I fought, really hard and kept myself upbeat and positive throughout my journey and honestly since I married right, despite cancer the last 2 years have been the best 2 years of my life. Finally we got out of it, never once got an ned scan, always a bit ambiguous but have been out of treatment since Jan 2025 and things have been getting better and better but one persistent node keeps popping up - no major fluctuations but its always there.

We biopsied it after DV4 last time, unfortunately inconclusive but we did a quicker scan at 2.5 months now. We have moved countries, i finally reclaimed my life back, but been travelling down for scans, now this scan shows a new node - right supraclavicular lymph node (suddenly lit up) and I underwent another biopsy, waiting for the results now. Blood work great, thriving and energy levels brilliant and I was finally happy again till now.

The biopsy result will come in 3 days, 3 worst days of this year for me. Expecting nothing out of this post just wanted to rant and want this to get over. Just want one NED scan, just feels so unfair. I mean fuck yeah it is unfair but Im so sick of waiting, being positive, being strong- again, not that I have a choice :)

New node after 1 year of treatment

I had a biopsy 2.5 months ago which came inconclusive so we took a scan within 3 months, turns out a new node has popped up (i feel it now) with suv 6.5 right above my right collar bone. I did take two vaccines (flu shot and mmr) in the past 2 months.

Could be nothing but turns out can be something. Off for a biopsy today.

PMBCL patient here, just looking for any stories that might give me hope for the next 3/4 days till I get the report.

Physically I couldnt be better, blood work is all clean and Ive moved countries and doing just fine, actually killing it!

I do feel like Ive a bit of a cold now (but could be in my head lol) - im praying its just some minor infection :(

Fishing for any false positive similar stories or reassurance of some kind 💗🙏🏽
