Hayley is really hard to watch.

Hayley is really hard to watch.

My whole body froze up while watching Hayley completely spiral on Blake.

I'm usually a huge girls girl but my goodness, Blake was so extremely patient and took the time to think out and express his feelings calmly and he just got completely beat down over and over again. Anything he said was criticised, scrutinized and twisted. I would have walked away immediately if someone was treating me that way. I felt really bad for him

Even the first fight when he didn't hug her right away, she had crazy eyes on him.

She's a huge red flag.

Anybody else lose faith in humanity after this season?

I mean, all the seasons are reality trash, we all know and love them for it. However, as someone who’s almost in their mid-30s, seeing my generation and the one younger being so intellectually and emotionally deficient really bothered me for some reason.
When I was younger I thought humanity would be better off right now. I watched this season and felt pretty hopeless. Anti-intellectualism and shitty pseudo-trad manosphere brainrot has permeated so deep, I don’t see things improving in the US.
I won’t list off everything as looking at this board all the issues are obvious—pick a thread. Personally “Mini Barron” Killian and Ashely are the worst but everyone else is not far behind.

Oh…and Edris and his girl getting back together after the reunion…like what happened to basic respect?

Am I just a pessimist?

David is so toxic it’s scary

I feel like David isn’t getting enough heat at all. His reaction to Monica having a lifelong male best friend was brushed under the rug. I think that was very abnormal and insecure to request that someone abandons a lifelong friendship and the double standard with him arguing that it’s ok to like other girls instagrams with Casey. I think his behavior is scarier than Kilian because he seems to be getting away with it. And him using “abandonment” as his excuse for not wanting to get married is such BS. He would want Monica to abandon a friendship, but he can’t commit to not liking other girls photos for Casey? What???

Phones

To me a huge problem with the show is that they let the cast have their phones. It’s a flaw in the “experiment” and it’s just lame watching four people sit around and fight about texts that the viewer isn’t seeing. I think there was a chance Blake and Ashley could have formed a romantic relationship if they hadn’t been in contact with their emotional abusers. Production should take away their personal phones and give them show phones so they have access to all the texts and can control what social media is and isn’t allowed to be accessed.

Killian podcast with Jebin

Killian and Jebin, on a podcast are saying that Ashley and Blake were hooking up off camera. Jebin said he can confirm because of what Blake’s told him. Its mentioned he has so much tea. This guy is such a loser.

Reaction to Jebin v/s Killian

It is so weird that Jebin was kicked out of the show for writing that letter (not at all supporting him because its ridiculous) but Killian was not schooled enough or called out enough for all those ridiculous messages from his friends?

Like am I missing something here? I thought that was way way more offensive and why wasnt he kicked out of the show after that? If I was Hayley reading somrthing like that, I would be scared engaging with someone like that post reading it. Yikes!

Killian abusive to Ashley?

I mean I know he was verbally and emotionally abusive but Did anyone else catch Ashley saying “he put his hands on me” about Killian the same way Hayley had said just before they rolled the cameras to Killian and Ashley?

It was not addressed at all. None of the abuse was

Holes in the concept

I have seen season 1 and 2 and I truly find this concept very interesting, and I also find it is a teachable moment. But I think the producers might do more to make people understand that they are LITERALLY each other’s ex when this takes off. It should be a demand that they block their ex while in the trial-marriage, and it should be against the rules to contact your ex until the procedure is over. One person I misunderstood a lot from the beginning and whom I really started to respect was J.R. from Season 2. He really understood what to do when the ex came knocking. He simply said you are not coming in, because that is what a true husband does when the ex comes knocking.
Those in the show who makes all sorts of boundaries that you would not do in a marriage hasn't understood the concept. Sitting in the couch and lying in bed constantly talking about your ex and that you are still loyal to your ex is utterly disrespectful to the person you have literally married for 3 weeks. That should mean out sight out of mind. How would your coming wife or husband think if you constantly worry about how you ex feel right now. If that's how you are going to waste your time in a trial marriage, don’t sign up for such a unique experience that could benefit so many other people who would take this seriously.
The hosts should be stricter in my opinion and make it strictly forbidden to contact your ex (the person you arrived with) or anyone in their immediate family.
One thing I believe should not be part of the experience that ruins it a little is the boys night out and the girls night out. First of all it seems like the least serious part of this experience, because it seems like something the producers want because it always create drama when you put a lot of jealous people in one room and serve them alcohol ad libitum. It seems to be more to attract viewers than to benefit the participants. This could just as well be done after the experience is over in a more sober setting. Besides it is in my opinion in stark contrast to the entire idea of simulating a genuine marriage. In a genuine marriage your spouse don't just go out with your ex and get drunk, and tell your ex what is wrong with them. That shouldn't be part of the show. On the other hand I truly love the introduction to family and friends. That really gives a genuine insight in the person and their background.
I will also see S3 and S4 and I hope they make a little stricter rules against keeping contact with your ex.

Casey is the most beautiful inside out 😍 David is so lucky to have her. The rest if the girls look so fake. Casey is so genuinely kind and sweet.

This show is so dark

Here I was trying to find trashy reality tv and thinking this would be light and interesting drama. Only to be absolutely smothered by the darkness of that reunion and aftermath. Wtaf.

And then come to find out Jessica and Edris are back together?!

This is not a fun show. 0/10

Edit: and after that whole shite show Casey and David are like .. well this has been lovely, why don’t we get married here?? Literally minutes after edris said what he said …

Haley podcast tell all

Did you guys watch the podcast with Haley it’s really crazy.

It confirmed my suspicion that she was the aggressor

Seems like what happened when Blake “put his hands on her” was they were both drinking, she started attacking him in the street until Blake had to physically restrain her and put her in her friends car. She states she doesn’t remember how she got in the car so clearly she was blackout drunk when that happened.

In the apartment they go at it, she’s yelling and he’s telling her to leave his apartment. They start filming each other. Blake’s dad who lives next door is the one who called the police on Haley.

The female police officer then arrested Blake with no evidence of anything even Haley admitted to that. She signed the affidavit because she never wanted him to be arrested and she wanted him to make it to the reunion.

She says she has no money and was using Blake’s American Express card for everything and that’s why she found it hard to leave.

She also said that Casey furnished her current apartment.. kind of weird.

Ashley is friends with Simone Biles??

Out of all the weird fucking shit to happen this season, this blew my mind the most. Was creeping to look at her pre-surgery face and found these photos… this can’t be AI, right? Guess cheerleading and gymnastics intersect more than I thought?

Edris at the reunion...wtf?

I'm disgusted at his retelling of how he dumped Jessica. I felt sick listening to that Tate-level language and behaviour. I'm not easily shocked but wow!

Killans lip filler migration is crazy!!

And Blake’s Botox / lip filler also gives such uncanny valley and was so obvious from the jump. What are these boys doing?!

Luke sucks too

I feel like every thread talking about how shitty all the dudes are, and they are shitty, has this exception for Luke and I don’t get it. He on screen did the Trump Dance in Episode 4, he has the biblical tattoo talking about being a man, and spoke of wanting a “traditional” upbringing to his children. All of this paints a very familiar picture. The fact he isn’t yelling all the time, and that he acknowledges we both went to the moon and that dinosaurs are real, doesn’t sway from how right wing he is. He isn’t different than any of the others who vote for Trump, and love what he does with ICE. This whole cast is frankly one voting demographic.

Hayley is toxxxxxicccc

Watching the reunion. In my opinion, I can't get on her side. She cries to gain sympathy. She cries to get people on her side. During the show, Blake asked anything of her she would FREAK out and immediately start yelling and be so defensive.

This doesn't feel like reactive abuse or anything, I don't believe Hayley and I think she needs therapy to address her past traumas.

Blake isn't emotional, he made that VERY clear. He's very black and white, maybe on the spectrum type stuff? But he clearly was trying to relate, trying to find common ground, trying to learn.

This was such a hard season to watch.
