The LDRS observed a busy floating bus stop next to Blackhorse Road station. Over the course of two hours, several close calls with pedestrians were observed, cyclists were seen travelling down the wrong track and multiple e-bikes and e-scooters didn’t skip a beat as they sped by.

The speed of the Earth's rotation has been increasing since 2020. On June 29, 2022, Earth's rotation was completed in 1.59 milliseconds under 24 hours, setting a new record. This increase in speed is thought to be due to various factors, including climate change melting ice at the poles.

WH Auden references on Five Leaves Left?

WH Auden has a fairly well known poem called If I Could Tell You, which includes the lines:

> There must be reasons why the leaves decay; Time will say nothing but I told you so.

It has struck me recently the title of the Nick Drake album Five Leaves Left nd the song Time Has Told Me could be a reference to this poem.

Drake studied English literature at Cambridge and was known to be a fan of W. B. Yeats , whom Auden wrote a famous elegy for in 1939. So it seems likely he was familiar with the poem. But I can't see any confirmation of this online. Anyone have thoughts?
