My puppy has started biting me and peeing on my bed

My 4 months old Shih Tzu is very sweet and friendly. He's pretty well trained and very social. I take him on daily walks, and he always has someone at home with him too.

He is trained pretty well and even potty trained. He does his business outside or if it's an emergency at 3 am he even pushes the washroom door and does his business there.

The issue has started this week. At night (around 8-9 pm) he has started becoming aggressive towards just me. He barks at me and bites me, and if he is pissed when I don't respond he jumps up to my bed and pees on it. He even jumped up on my bed and peed after he was bathed. Even in his play pen he doesn't sleep and keeps hitting pretty it's wall to get out.

I am scared this will become a daily issue. He is very sweet and friendly and he is still just biting me. Apart from the bathing incident I can't put a finger on why. Plus it's just started happening now. I would love any advice.

Thanks in advance! 🌻

I hate the tremors

I (28, F) got diagnosed this May. I have had a round of steroids and my first Orcevus infusion. I have been on beta blockers since a month to reduce the shaking and tremors in my hands.

As of 10 minutes ago, I am having a mental breakdown. I was having a post work cup of tea. And because of my hands, I dropped the nearly boiling liquid all over my legs and thighs (what's in between my thighs is thankfully safe).

I hate this, I started this year being able to box, and do my favourite hobbies - embroidery, painting, writing and so many other tactile things, and after being diagnosed I am too bad to do my hobbies or cook a proper meal on my own. But today was a new low, I can't even hold a mug now?

Typing through the tears, my family thinks I am crying because of the burns. But just the inability to do a basic thing has just jolted me from how comfortable I was getting with the diagnosis.

Please tell me the tremors get better.

I Don't Know What the Next Steps Are

Hi everyone,

I 27 F am based in India and got diagnosed 3 months ago. Within this time frame I have been on and off steroids, gotten a relapse, quit my job, and had my first Orcevus infusion. All in all it has been quite eventful.

I am posting here, because honestly, I don't know what to do next. I still have the symptoms mainly optic neuritis, numbness and tingling in hands, balance issues and fatigue. I have been prescribed steroids till the end of this month till I have my next checkup. My doctor has asked me to refrain from any strenuous activity or stressful work but has suggested I can start looking for remote or part-time jobs which honestly are very rare in my field.

I feel like all of a sudden, I need to tailor everything in my life around this diagnosis. I used to have a very active lifestyle hiking, boxing etc. and now I feel like most days I can't even get myself out of bed.

I have gained arround 10-15 kgs in the last few months due to the steroids, and have a lot of other side effects which the doctor tells me will improve when I go off meds. This is just worse and has added onto my already existing body image issues.

I guess I am just looking for someone who will tell me:

  1. That the symptoms are actually temporary - the tremors and the numbness will go away.

  2. At some point in life, I will not have to tailor my every decision around my diagnosis.

  3. How does one deal with everything? I feel like I woke up one day unable to feel my legs and now everything has changed. It's like mourning for who I used to be everyday.

  4. Do I need to do anything as of now that improves my chances? I am taking my meds, doing check ups and as of now doing light stretching and will start some physiotherapy once my doctors give the green light.

I know this is a very vague post, but I do not know who to ask. I joined the local MS society chapter but it seems more of an advocacy group than anything. I would love some support and just people telling me what to expect. I am very confused and honestly, I feel very useless at the moment. I have no job, no plan, no clue about what to do next.

Thank you for reading this and hope you are doing good 🌻

Hobbies for a hospital stay

Hello! I have just been diagnosed with MS and am in the hospital for a week for treatment.

My mobility, hand coordination, and vision are not that great at the moment.

Would love some suggestions on what I can do to kill the time. There's only so many audiobooks/albums one can hear.

Thanks in advance for any inputs! 🌿🌻
