Downloaded DOSBOX 0.74 and got it set up on my PC. The most arduous part of this was downloading the games which took almost 3 hours altogether plus I was having issues with my thumb drive for a little while.

Obviously not gonna get an official key from Microsoft these days, but are there any sources out there from which I can get one that’s low-risk and reputable? Thanks in advance.
Bought this IBM Thinkpad R50 off of eBay about 2 weeks ago and a few days ago I had attempted to install some classic DOS/3.1/95 games. One of the game installers prompted me to download some 90s-era DirectX driver, and I made a rookie mistake by accepting it and next thing you know, I received the BSOD. Turns out the NTFS.sys file got corrupted.
So 4 days later, with Hirens BootCD 15.2, I officially reflashed the OS through a series of copy and pasting, troubleshooting the dreaded txtsetup.sif and Line 1 being corrupted and giving me hieroglyphics when opened in Notepad, and other arduous tasking..What a royal pain, but it was well worth it!
