Hola a todos, Me mudé aquí hace unos tres meses. Llevo ya unos siete años aprendiendo los entresijos de esta afición por el calzado.

¿Hay tiendas de segunda mano, de ropa vintage o de armarios cápsula seleccionados… en la ciudad de Bilbao (o en el área metropolitana de Bilbao) que REALMENTE sepan lo que hacen?

La cuestión es que NO ESTOY buscando explícitamente una categoría o tipo de calzado concreto, como:

1. zapatillas deportivas 2) zapatos de vestir 3) botas o zapatillas de montaña 4) etc.

¡Busco un sitio donde el comprador o el propietario SÉPA LO QUE CONSTITUYE un par de zapatos cojonudos y duraderos!

Para poder encontrar cosas como:

1. Zapatos fabricados en Portugal, UU., Japón, Austria o Suiza...
2. Zapatos de piel granulada, piel «crazy horse», con cosido Goodyear, "reinforced", e.t.c.
3. Marcas como: Mephisto, LOWA, Solovair, Paraboot, Navyboot, Marséll, Camper, Heschung, John Varvatos, Frye, Panama Jack, Sandro Paris, etc.

after a series of events the "Unworldly Wise" by Terence Gray (Wei Wu Wei) has ended up on my lap.

this piece ended up being the most important & most intimate beacon that spoke to me dearly in years.

I'm craving to connect with whoever who has processed it and who has a clear enough recall of the contents of the book, (or has revisited it recently.)

if there is anyone who has a clue that someone else might have processed it and can talk to me, I'd be profoundly grateful.

I need to bridge some overarching aspects with the Teaching.

been to 25 countries, since 2025 lived in Tenerife, Andorra, Malaga; just moved to Bilbao for few months to see how life is like here.

Several different specific questions:

1. if we are talking about English-speaking crowd living in Bilbao, what would be the best online platforms/channels to get to build social circles?

Unlike Málaga that has a bunch of events on meetup.com, there's barely anything for Bilbao on Meetup (which was my starting point in Málaga life)

Where's the majority of actual online interaction between English speaking community is happening?

I assume some Facebook groups, WhatsApp thematic public channels? What would be a good starting point?

2. Unlike Málaga, I see that there's basically no startup scene here, but would still be interested to hear if there are ANY guesses for where to potentially meet this kind of crowd, if at all.

3. I'm a niche electronic music artist (minimal, romanian minimal,
   ambient, IDM, tribal)
