Happy Frasier Crane Day!
(Note: sorry folks I got my two dates mixed up)
Today marks 33 years since the good Doctor's first last broadcast on KACL!
His first words were, "Listen to yourself, Bob! You follow her to work, you eavesdrop on her calls, you open her mail. The minute you started doing these things, the relationship was over! Thank you for your call."
Bob didn't speak so the next call was the very first guest caller, Russell (played by Girffin Dunne). He was one of the two backpackers/stars in "An American Werewolf in London" (the one who was killed right away!) and he also more recently played Nicky on "This is Us".
We learn the essentials of what happened in Boston, including the fact that "six months ago, [he] was living in Boston, [his] wife had left [him], which was very painful and then she came back, which was excruciating."
A few minutes later we see Niles and the famous lines,
Frasier: "yes, I know what you think about everything...when was the last time you had an unexpressed thought?
Niles: "I'm having one now..."
And their first coffee order was two café latte supremos. No mention of whispers of nutmeg.
And then came the talk about Dad!
Happy Frasier Crane Day everyone!
