What the heck are thrust washers and where can I get 'em?

Hello, r/fans

I got this here fan, see, and done enough searching to know it needs thrust washers, but what exactly are those? They just the flat nylon it Teflon washers? And one germts put behind the post and one on? Any helpful guidance appreciated. Bought this champ at an estate sale and it rocks. It just started to rattle and I pulled it apart and no "thrust washers" to reference. Thanks, y'all

Panel gap causing water to show where it wasn't themorning after a checkup?

I have another post trying to figure out why I've got water where previously wasn't morning after yearly service check-up, but I wanted to ask this specific question: in the video you can see the panel is not screwed in. I'm wondering if that Gap could be the cause of new water presence? It looks like there should be a seal around that oval opening but it doesn't seal because there's a missing panel screw. If not this panel having a gap being the reason for the new water, then what possibly?

Does this look right?

This is an Amana residential air conditioner condensation line. Does that " open" PVC pipe on the left supposed to have a cap on it?

If so, what would happen if that cap was off and the air ran all day on a hot day?

Update: Dirty filter was aslo replaced. Read possible ice build up could have melted resulting in, hopefully, temporary excess condensation
