Prescription Cartier Zeiss sunglasses from Cindy
First order of rep glasses and found this subreddit that recommended Cindy! I messaged over WhatsApp, didn't have a 1688 account, and paid directly via Alipay. I probably could have saved some money by setting up a 1688 account and sending it to Cindy, but I was too lazy for that lol
Breakdown:
- Cartier CT0611O Black Gold Frames: ¥320 yuan ~= $47 USD
- Shipping to NY, USA: ¥180 yuan ~= $26 USD
- Zeiss prescription lenses (Zerui dyed diamond cubic platinum film): 1.60 was ¥750. I opted for 1.67 index lenses instead, for ¥1030 ~= $151 USD cause I am blind 🧑🦯 and need ultralight lenses
Total: ~$224
I placed the order on 6/15, and got pictures of the fitted frames on 6/22. Cindy made a mistake though and accidentally gave me 1.60 index instead of 1.67. They confirmed it was a mistake on their end and they ordered another pair of frames and redid it with the correct 1.67 index.
I just received photos of the 1.67 pair, and also received the original (incorrect) 1.60 pair in the mail today, 6/30. Overall I'm happy with the quality and how they handled the mistake on their end. Would recommend and will def be ordering more in the future!
Would recommend getting your pupil distance measured! I used an app to measure mine and ended up ~3mm off from what my optometrist gave me for my normal pair of glasses.
