Just wanted to share my experience after ordering three pairs from Janie.

I ordered the Louis Vuitton Z2021U for myself, the Chanel CH5416A for my girlfriend, and a pair of Miu Miu prescription glasses with progressive lenses for a family member.

The ordering process was really straightforward. I sent over the prescription for the Miu Miu pair, asked a few questions, and Janie was very helpful throughout. Communication was quick and shipping took right around 2 weeks.

The biggest concern was the Miu Miu pair since progressive lenses can be hit or miss when ordering online, but they turned out great. The prescription is accurate, the lenses are comfortable, and my family member has been wearing them every day with no issues.

The LV Z2021U is my favorite of the three. The frame feels solid, the gold finish looks great, and the details came out really clean.

My girlfriend loves the Chanel CH5416A. The fit is comfortable, the frame feels well made, and it's become her everyday pair.

Overall, we're all really happy with the order. Communication was smooth, shipping was fast, and all three pairs exceeded our expectations. If anyone has questions or wants more close-up photos, feel free to ask.

Hey guys. I tried out my new glasses today. The first thing I liked is that my eyes adjusted perfectly. With the ones I bought from Lisa, I was dizzy for two days.The saddle is too big and they keep falling off. I think I'll try modifying the leg and adding pads. The color transition is good. But it's a bit light. If the sun is shining directly on you, it's still bothersome. Perhaps the gray version would be better suited for sunlight.The frame feels good. It's not heavy. It seemed to get darker inside the car. I'm going to drive the bus with them this afternoon and I'll update if it gets darker.

Ordered directly from Cindy instead of 1688 only coz it was my first order with her. The Moscot Lemtosh are fitted with Zeiss polarized lenses.

Delivery took around 5 days to arrive to the USA. Using express UPS option provided by her.

Cost:

• Akoni Solis Frames: 320 CNY
• Moscot Lemtosh Frames: 320 CNY
• Prada Frames: 280 CNY
• ZEISS Polarized lenses: 498 CNY

• Express shipping: 420 CNY. I chose the express option for faster delivery. She originally offered what I assume a triangular shipping method which was much cheaper at 180 CNY but would have take about 15 days for delivery.

TOTAL = 1418 CNY + 420 CNY = $270.53

PSPs were sent promptly after about 4 days from order.
Her communication is excellent and she was very responsive with my questions.

First order of rep glasses and found this subreddit that recommended Cindy! I messaged over WhatsApp, didn't have a 1688 account, and paid directly via Alipay. I probably could have saved some money by setting up a 1688 account and sending it to Cindy, but I was too lazy for that lol

Breakdown:

• Cartier CT0611O Black Gold Frames: ¥320 yuan ~= $47 USD
• Shipping to NY, USA: ¥180 yuan ~= $26 USD
• Zeiss prescription lenses (Zerui dyed diamond cubic platinum film): 1.60 was ¥750. I opted for 1.67 index lenses instead, for ¥1030 ~= $151 USD cause I am blind 🧑‍🦯 and need ultralight lenses

Total: ~$224

I placed the order on 6/15, and got pictures of the fitted frames on 6/22. Cindy made a mistake though and accidentally gave me 1.60 index instead of 1.67. They confirmed it was a mistake on their end and they ordered another pair of frames and redid it with the correct 1.67 index.

I just received photos of the 1.67 pair, and also received the original (incorrect) 1.60 pair in the mail today, 6/30. Overall I'm happy with the quality and how they handled the mistake on their end. Would recommend and will def be ordering more in the future!

Would recommend getting your pupil distance measured! I used an app to measure mine and ended up ~3mm off from what my optometrist gave me for my normal pair of glasses.

I just received over 10 messages from people asking how to order from Cindy and lot of them don’t have 1688 to make payment. She does accept Wise and Alipay.

✅ Easy fix:
If you can’t send your frame over, just send Cindy a clear photo + the brand/model name. She’s based in China and has a huge network of contacts, so she’ll do her best to source exactly what you need.

She has a wide range of frames and lenses, including Zeiss, photochromic, and all the standard coatings you’d want. She’s truly excellent at her job, and pays close attention to detail and communication is always decent tbh.

Hello folks I have a pair of rep frames that I’ve been using for about 3 years now, they have just broken on me and I was hoping to find some alternatives of a similar style. Main thing I’m looking for is the half rims with a rectangular shaped lens. No real preference on color or styling other than what was mentioned.

I’ve been trying to find good designer sunglasses but there isn’t really a post that says “these are the best sunglass vendors” I want to buy these that come with the frames and lenses already (UV protected) can anyone help?

I’ve scoured the entire internet for good alternatives to these glasses, but to no avail. My last hope is Chinese replicas.
