For people who make AI videos/Shorts, what’s your process?

Hey guys, I’m pretty new to making AI videos and I’m trying to figure out how everyone actually does this.

I’ve been trying to make short horror/true crime style videos with multiple scenes. I started with Gemini Pro, but I’ve already run into the problem where it only lets me make like 3 to 4 video clips and then I have to wait a few hours for it to reset. It takes forever when I’m trying to make a video with lots of scenes.

So I wanted to ask people who already do this, what tools do you use and what’s your workflow?

Like, do you:

Write the story first and then make images for each scene?

Generate images first and turn them into videos?

Generate the videos directly from prompts?

Use one AI for images and another for video?

How do you keep the same character, clothes, background and overall art style throughout all the clips? This is probably the part I’m struggling with the most because every new generation seems to change something

Do you use character reference images, specific prompts, seeds, etc.?

And how do you deal with generation limits when you need to make a lot of clips?

I’m basically trying to figure out a workflow that I can actually use consistently without having to wait hours every time I make a few clips.

If anyone makes AI Shorts, I’d REALLY appreciate it if you could share how you do yours, even if it’s just a basic rundown of your process. And if you have any tips for keeping everything consistent, please share them because I’m strugglinggg 😭

Thanks!! ❤️

22, Fashion Designer & Completely Lost About My Career. Need Advice 😭

Girls, I seriously need some advice 😭

I’m 22 and I’ve been studying fashion since I was 16. I still love fashion and I’m a creative person, but I’ve realized I enjoy working on a computer much more than cutting, sewing and making garments.

I currently freelance doing fashion illustrations and tech packs, but it doesn’t pay enough. Where I live, most fashion jobs are focused on sewing/production, which I honestly don’t enjoy.

I’m more interested in digital creative work and eventually building something of my own, but I have no idea what direction to take.

I’d really love to hear from people in the fashion industry, especially those with years of experience, or experienced entrepreneurs. What advice would you give someone in my situation? 😭

Need an excuse to go to a night event with my boyfriend without telling my strict dad

I’m 22F and I’ve been in a relationship with my boyfriend for 6+ years. The thing is, we rarely get to meet because my parents are pretty strict, especially my dad.

I’ve basically been kept at home most of my life. Even when I was in college, my parents were always very involved and they would sometimes literally come behind me wherever I went. 😭 Because of that, I ended up becoming really socially anxious, and now I work from home too, so I don’t really have many reasons to go out.

My mom isn’t strict at all and she already knows about my relationship and is okay with it. My dad, however, is a completely different story. He’s very strict, manipulative, and honestly just kind of unpredictable when it comes to things like this.

There’s an event happening at night that I really want to go to with my boyfriend. I’m 22, so I know I should be able to make my own decisions, but realistically, telling my dad that I’m going to a nighttime event with my boyfriend is NOT going to go well.

So… does anyone have any believable excuses/reasons I could give him for going to a night event? 😂 Something that wouldn’t immediately raise suspicion or lead to 500 questions.

I’m not looking for anything too elaborate, just something realistic that strict parents might actually accept.

And yes, I know some people will say “just tell him the truth,” but unfortunately, if it were that simple, I wouldn’t be asking Reddit 😭

How do Upwork Ad Credits actually work?

Hey guys, I recently got 30 Ad Credits on Upwork and I’m a little confused about how I’m supposed to use them.

If I can choose between the different ad options, I’d probably go with Boosted Profile. But when I try to boost my profile, it shows that it’s going to use my Connects. I don’t see any option to use the Ad Credits instead.

So how exactly do the Ad Credits work? Are they supposed to automatically be used before my Connects, or is there something I need to do to activate/use them?

I’d really appreciate it if someone could explain this because I don’t want to accidentally spend my Connects when I have 30 Ad Credits available 😭
