Complete hydro beginner here! I figured I'd try kratky tomatoes this summer and bought a 10L bucket, recommended nutrients and a tomato plant that I cleaned from dirt as well as I could. It's now been a week and the water smells awful (the nutrients smelled pretty bad to begin with so that might not be an issue), but there are "slimy cakes" floating around the water as well. Does anyone recognize this and is there something that needs to be done? I don't don't what info to provide so feel free to ask whatever! Would appreciate help to succeed!
