BRCA gene testing (UK)

Hi I'm curious to how you go about getting the BRCA gene testing done in the UK. GP's are not listening to my concerns: I have a strong family history of breast cancer on my mum's side (nanny recently died from breast cancer, nanny's sister had breast cancer, my nanny's nanny had breast cancer aswell).

My mum went to all my Nanny's appointments and queried with the medical teams and oncologists but they didn't seem bothered, and neither have the GP's. (I'm a little more of a fighter until I get answers compared to mum who just accepts it).
As far as we're all aware; Nanny was never tested for the gene, and neither Nanny's sister.

It's something that plays on my mind a lot, and I'm curious to how we can convince someone to listen to my concerns and actually be tested for this.
Should I be concerned? Should I be fighting for testing?

Let me know your thoughts please and any advice is greatly appreciated

training new staff

Hi all, I'm down to train new staff tomorrow to learn the job and I'll be honest, I'm nervous about it.
I was meant to train the person last week, but I forgot and I have ADHD. I struggle with remembering to teach them, my actual teaching goes all over the place like back and forth, I'm repeating myself, I get overwhelmed by it and now I've made myself incredibly anxious for tomorrow because I know I'll struggle and can't then focus and multitask.
I don't want to put this on the new person because I don't think it's fair that he gets trained this way (by me being all messy). The problem I have is I know my managers will just say to get on with it.
What should I do?
Do you think there's a better way I can word things to my managers for them to understand me? Sometimes I don't think they fully understand my brain and how my ADHD affects me.

My doctor has recently diagnosed me with lupus and thinks I have an autoimmune disease hence my HS flare ups.
Curious to how many other people have lupus too?
