Share your parrot’s quirks!
My sun conure, Percy, 15, will only take a bath in my hands. I give him plenty of opportunities throughout the week to bathe… sometimes he’s in the mood, and sometimes not, but when he decides he is, oh boy does he love them lol. He takes me up on the offer maybe twice a week.
I’ve tried putting a separate larger dish in his cage. I’ve put a perch in the shower and tried taking him in with me. I bought a battery operated play sink for him. I’ve tried lightly misting with a spray bottle which makes him angry. I’ve tried everything I could think of, but he’s stubborn!
Tell me about your birds’ weird quirks! I love how they such big and varied personalities in their little bodies.
