Fairview Ave. Area? Downtown looks like it could be fun and interesting architecturally but most apts are walk-ups and I like ground floor.

Midtown, Historic District, Arts District, Riverfront? If so, what are their boundary demarcations?
And tips for living happily in or nearby would be appreciated.

1. is the area prone to flooding. If so, how much flooding and how often?
2. the on-street parking, does it require a permit? moving one’s car for street cleaning?
3. are there garages for monthly parking?
4. any property management companies to avoid?
5. are there little neighborhood grocery stores that you can walk to?

Good safe places to walk, hike recommendations

My budget is $900. So something like like Ulster, Onondaga, Mildred Streets?
